Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program
The Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program provides funding for projects led by Canadian non-profit organizations that can help survivors of sexual misconduct in the DND/CAF and the wider defense community.
Eligibility
- Organizations need to be Canadian, legally registered as nonprofit community service providers, and have the ability to enter into a grant agreement with the Canadian government.
- Applicants should also be able to help people in the defense community who have experienced sexual misconduct in the Department of National Defense and the Canadian Armed Forces.
- If an organization doesn’t have the capability or expertise to offer these services, they can still be considered if they plan to build these capabilities with the funding they receive.
Benefits
The Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program offers two types of funding
- One-time, project-based (maximum $50,000)
- Recurrent funding (maximum $75,000 annually for up to three years).
