Grants to Support Homeless Charities

Grants to Support Homeless Charities fund a wide variety of organizations and favor small, grassroots charities working to help the most vulnerable people in their communities. Help the Homeless provides grants aimed at assisting individuals experiencing homelessness in transitioning off the streets and empowering them to lead self-sufficient and healthy lives.

Eligibility

  • Your organization must be registered with the Charity Commission in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, or a registered Scottish charity.

  • Grants for homeless people are able to help only small charities with an annual turnover of less than £500,000.

  • Help the Homeless can only accept applications for the funding of capital projects. Help the Homeless is unable to accept applications for running or core costs. Note: Help the Homeless is also unable to consider requests for computers and IT equipment.
  • Help the Homeless provides small grants of up to £5,000. They do not consider multi-year requests.

  • There should be a minimum period of two years between the receipt of a decision or grant from us and making a further application.
