Two of the most important aspects of the entire process are donor research and donor networking! After all, before you can send your winning proposal over to impress a donor, you need to know who that donor is and how you can connect with them.

The course will be delivered through mixed-use of presentation, case-study examples, role-play and lively discussions in several sessions covering all steps vital to a successful application.

Trainer

Dr. Eva Wieners has worked for the past seven years with NGOs on the grassroots level in Nepal in the field of fundraising, capacity development and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. She has worked on countless proposals for international foundations and has a lot of experience – particularly in the field of small grants. Before coming to Nepal, she worked in South America and Europe. She holds a PhD in geography from the Universtity of Hamburg and a masters (diploma) degree of geography, agriculture, and management from the University of Cologne, Germany and Universidad de Caceres, Spain.
