EFICO Foundation Fund 2023

The EFICO Foundation Fund 2023 aims to positively drive systemic solutions towards a sustainable coffee value chain. Through training and education programs, sustainable income increase, resilience to climate change, infrastructure support, and natural resource protection, EFICO Foundation works to positively impact coffee farmers’ livelihoods, prosperity, and the environment.

Eligibility

The project must aim to:

  • Improve the lives of coffee farmers and the people living in their communities.
  • It should meet 3 dimensions of sustainability: social, environmental, and economic, and the set out pre-determined criteria.
  • Preference is given to projects having a clear strategy to become self-sustaining and creating a leverage effect. EFCO encourages innovation and the potential to inspire a broader community by creating a model that can multiplied.
  • The person who starts the project needs to show how it will work with different groups of people, kind of like a team. This is a bit like how the UN Global Compact works.
  • Your project should do good things that match one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals. And you should be able to show how well you’re doing.

Benefits

  • EFICO Foundation Fund 2023 itself covers all the operational and fund-related expenses. 100% of the funds collected are destined for the projects.
