LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics Grants aims to support organizations and projects that align with Lush’s values of environmental sustainability, animal rights, and social justice. The grant provides financial assistance to groups working on innovative and impactful initiatives in these areas.

Eligibility

To be eligible, your project must:

Support non-violent direct action.
Be far-reaching in its initiatives.
Promote and implement viable, fair, and sustainable solutions.
Demonstrate efforts towards environmental responsibility (when accessible).
Embrace grassroots-led solutions, thereby supporting community-led decision-making.
If based in North America or Turtle Island and working internationally, demonstrate how local knowledge and expertise are integral to the decision-making process and how local people implement projects for our international grants.

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics Grants do not fund projects that:

Promote violence, aggression, prejudice, oppression, or violate human rights.
Involve cruelty to animals, including testing for research or using animals for human gain, entertainment, husbandry, or therapy.
Influence religious beliefs or exclude based on religious practice.
Connect to political parties, endorsements, rallies, or show partisanship.
Neglect environmental responsibility.
Include schools, university programs, walks/runs/sporting events, or fundraising initiatives.
Operate as for-profit social enterprises.
Follow a chapter system.
Are government subsidiaries at any level?

Benefits

Most grants range from $3,000 to a maximum of $15,000 per project. You are invited to apply for what you need; however, it is rare to receive the maximum amount.
