OneCause Cares Corporate Grants Program

OneCause Cares Corporate Grants Program aims to support nonprofit organizations with technology-based grants, helping them expand their reach and enhance their missions through the utilization of innovative fundraising technology.

Eligibility

• The OneCause Cares Corporate Grants Program is designed to invest in communities. Applicants must be based in, serve, or demonstrate impact nationally within the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, D.C., Canada, and Puerto Rico. The mission of applicant organizations should also align with the Company’s cause focus areas.
• The OneCause Grants Program is open to any registered 501c3 organization in the United States and Canada.
• A nonprofit is eligible for one grant reward in a lifetime.

OneCause looks at the following factors when awarding grants:

• Alignment with cause focus areas
• Needs-based
• Software use case for fundraising or awareness building
• A clear focus on how the software will further the mission
• Adhering to deadline and application completeness
• Organization’s commitment to fulfilling grantee responsibilities

In addition, OneCause does not award technology-based grants for the following:

• Individuals
• Research
• Organizations not exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns or organizations designed primarily to lobby
• Travel-related requests including student trips and tours
• Organizations that do not raise funds in USD
• Organizations that are required to use their own 3rd party payment platforms
• Organizations with programs that are primarily religious in nature or activities for sectarian purposes, such as faith-based indoctrination, church-building campaigns, and general offerings. However, OneCause considers supporting such organizations provided the programs offered meet a need of the broader community, i.e., soup kitchens, homeless shelters, educational programs, and other social service needs

Benefits

• Technology-based grants of up to $10,000 each will be awarded to two nonprofits.
