The proposalsforNGOs #togetherwecan Photo Contest is open to any individual 18 years or older in any country unless prohibited by local or the United States law.

How to Enter 

Follow @proposalsforNGOs on Facebook and/or be subscribed to proposalsforNGOs free email newsletter.

Fill out the online submission form and upload your photo. 

Click submit!

Basic criteria for submissions

Complete and submit the online application form before 31 July 2020 (23:59 GMT)- Deadline extended. Entries received via any other format or past the deadline will not be accepted.

The only accepted formats for photos are JPG. We will not accept a photo sent inside a Word document or PDF.

The filename should include the name of the photographer followed by a brief caption. FirstnameLastname_BriefCaption e.g. PritiThapa_RoadConstruction, PritiThapa_Womenempowerment, PritiThapa_ChildrenPlaying.

The file size must be under 1 MB. 

Photos without caption and photographer’s name will not be qualified.

Photo dimensions may vary-horizontal or vertical.

Photos must be an original submission. The submitter must own the rights to the photo (i.e. the photo needs to be submitted by the photographer or with permission from the photographer and have permission to use all identifiable people, buildings, objects, etc.).

No photos with an overlaid logo or text or contain any watermarks.

Applicants have limited five photos per entry. Multiple entries are allowed.

Submissions cannot contain any inappropriate or offensive content.

Terms and Conditions

The Prize

30 (Thirty) of our favorite submissions will be shared on Facebook and other social media platforms!

The two (2) winners, with the most “likes” “Comments” and “shares” will be awarded $100 grant each!

Opening and closing date:

proposalsforNGOs #togetherwecan Photo Contest begins on 1 June 2020 9:00AM GMT and ends  31 July 2020 (23:59 GMT).

Top 30 submissions will be posted on proposalsforNGOs facebook for likes and shares from 15 August to 30 August 2020. Winners are picked by most likes and shares from the community.

Participation Eligibility

Participation is open to any person in any country unless prohibited by local or United States law. Participants need to be 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Participants must have an email address and Facebook account to participate. Employees of proposalsforngos.com (“Sponsor”), and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies are not eligible to participate.  proposalsforNGOs can exclude any participant for any or no reason at its own discretion.

Entry

During the contest period, you must enter by filling out the official registration form online. No mechanically produced entries are permitted. Incomplete entries are void. proposalsforNGOs is not responsible for lost, late, or entries not received regardless of the cause. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used for registration. 

Prize Judging

The potential winning submission (X2) will be selected by the highest numbers of likes and shares from the online community (Facebook).

The Prize

The 2 winners will receive $100 each, paid through PayPal, Western Union, Bank Transfer or other legal, eligible method. The prize is awarded “as is”, and any taxes, or any other costs, fees, bank charges, or expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient. If by reason of error, more prizes are claimed than the prizes available, a random drawing will be held to award the prizes. Under no circumstances will more than one small grant prize be awarded.

Announcement of Winner

The winner will be announced on Facebook on 20 August 2020 and will be pre-notified by email to the address provided at registration. The Winner must claim the prize by responding to the notification email within 3 days of notification. proposalsforNGOs reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if it deems this necessary. If the potential winner fails to timely claim the prize, is deemed ineligible, or if the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize is considered forfeited. In such cases, an alternate winner will be selected from among the finalist.

Prize Acceptance

Acceptance of the prize requires the individual winners to agree and abide by all rules and regulations outlined within.  

Publicity and Marketing

Submission of the photo constitutes permission to proposalsforNGOs to use the submitted photo, participants name, writing, photo caption, the Facebook account name for purposes of marketing, in any medium, without further compensation or notice.

Information collecting during the contest:

Participation requires registration of a name, email address, country, and Facebook account. Email addresses will be added as subscribers to proposalsforNGOs and receive other proposalsforNGOs newsletters unless you “opt out”. Information collected will not be shared or sold with any other parties. By submitting your contact information you provide permission to proposalsforNGOs to contact you about the contest.

Liability

proposalsforNGOs and its affiliates are not responsible for any and all failures of any kind related to this contest (whether caused by the computer or human error). Participants release proposalsforNGOs from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising in connection with this Prize. 

Other Terms

Decisions of proposalsforNGOs on all matters related to this prize are final. Any legal disputes arising under this prize are subject to the laws of the State of New York, USA and exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be in the state or federal courts located in New York, NY, USA. proposalsforNGOs reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest, Prize or its terms for any reason, including but not limited to, fraud, misconduct or technical failures. proposalsforNGOs reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual, NGO, network, or other entity.

Disclaimer

proposalsforNGOs has the right to reproduce your photo in any format, including print products, on the web, and in social media without compensation. Please make sure you read the disclaimer below for full details.

By submitting a photograph to this competition you:

Declare that you own the copyright of the photograph and that it is your original work (or submitted with permission).

Declare that you have permission to use the visual image of any identifiable individual or building in the photograph for entry into the competition and that the image may be published as stipulated in the photo contest rules.

Agree that proposalsforNGOs will not be responsible for the infringement of any third party rights in the photograph, moral or otherwise, that may arise as a result of your actions or omissions and that you indemnify proposalsforNGOs against all legal fees, claims, damages and other expenses that may be incurred as a result of your breach of the contest rules.

proposalsforNGOs can use your photograph for the purposes of the competition and also for future reproduction on websites and literature and other materials at proposalsforNGOs discretion (photographs will be credited where appropriate).
