Dr. Eva Wieners has worked for the past seven years with NGOs on the grassroots level in Nepal in the field of fundraising, capacity development and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. She has worked on countless proposals for international foundations and has a lot of experience – particularly in the field of small grants. Before coming to Nepal, she worked in South America and Europe. She holds a PhD in geography from the University of Hamburg and a masters (diploma) degree of geography, agriculture, and management from the University of Cologne, Germany and Universidad de Caceres, Spain.
