The Rotary Foundation accepts applications for the Peace Center Fellowships until the 31st of May. You can apply for either a Master’s Degree Program or a Professional Development Certificate Program. The former lasts 15 to 24 months, the latter 3 months.  The fellowship will be implemented in one of the 5 peace centers worldwide. The goal of the fellowship is to build the leaders in the field of peace of tomorrow and strengthen the leaders of today. What can be funded by the Rotary Foundation Peace Center Fellowship?

The Rotary Foundation Peace Center Fellowship funds a 15 to 24 month Master’s program in one of the Peace Centers. The Centers are in Chapel Hill, USA, Tokyo, Japan, Bradford, England, Brisbane, Australia, and Uppsala, Sweden. The program includes three months of field research.

The Professional Development Certificate Program includes a three-month intensive course for professional development in Bangkok, Thailand.

How to apply for the Rotary Foundation Peace Center Fellowship

If you are eligible for the Rotary Foundation Peace Center Fellowships, you can apply online until the 31st of May. You need an endorsement of the local Rotary Club, so you should start preparing for your application much sooner. Furthermore, you should check carefully if you fulfil the requirements of the universities, as a fellowship is only valid, if registration with the university can be carried out.
