If you want to apply for the 2019 Public Diplomacy small grant program, you need to be a Not-for-profit organization, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations, a public and private educational institution or an individual. You need to be from or work in Laos. For-profit organizations cannot apply.

The 2019 Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program Laos has the goal to promote partnerships between Lao and U.S. people and organizations; promote strong, sustainable and inclusive economic growth for Laos through education, health, market orientation, governance, and the environment; improve security cooperation; enhance education ties, strengthen media engagement, and/or build capacity of local partners. Projects can be funded specifically in the following areas:

How to apply for the 2019 Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program Laos

If you want to apply for the 2019 Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program Laos, you have to send your proposal to the email given on the website. Your proposal should not be longer than 7 pages and contain the following:

As this project is with USAID, you need to submit registration documents with USAID. Make sure you double check which documents you need and have them ready at the time of submission. Some registrations might take up to four weeks to obtain.
