According to UNDP Human Development Reports, Tanzania ranks 129th with high gender inequality. Diarrhea and HIV/AIDS are the major health issues in Tanzania. According to the UNAIDS Data report, about 1.4 million people in 2016 were living with HIV/AIDS with about 33,000 deaths recorded within the same year.
