Grant Proposal: LightEd

This grant proposal was shared with us for the contest by the organization LightEd the winner of the ‘ProposalsforNGOs Small Grant Opportunity 2023’!

The proposal addresses the Light For Peace Project and LightEd Kids Project. By offering access to renewable energy sources, the project aims to improve displaced individuals’ living conditions and well-being while mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change and reducing health hazards associated with traditional energy sources.

LightEd is solving one of the biggest yet most overlooked problems of the 21st century: electricity poverty. Lighted is consciously bringing a solution to electricity poverty by introducing a unique sustainable product that provides enough light to drive away and combat the lack of light in various communities.

  1. Well Done!!
This is a great project and relevant to us all.
You have written passionately but also with insight and well-formed ideas and feedback,
You should consider entering for the Earth Shot prize so you can enlarge your work further.

  2. I tried one for my organisation (EducAfrica Foundation) and this time round we didn’t make it to the finals. So I take this opportunity to congratulate LightEd for making it to the finals! You are the BEST!!!! Be blessed!!!! and Make sure there is “Light-at-the-end-of-poverty tunnel”
