The Proposed Project is concerned with the construction of Ten (1O) Stances Latrine at St. Athanasius Nursery and Primary school Wakiso District. It is for the construction of the latrine that financial assistance is sought.
However, the Purpose of this letter is to inform you that St. Athanasius Nursery and Primary School still has a litany of unfinished projects and the most urgent one is;
The construction of the Latrine; There is an outbreak of cholera which has killed many people in our community and this is as a result of lack of the sanitation facilities like latrines and even children fear to use the available latrine because it is full and in a very sorry state, children end up easing themselves anywhere and this has led to the spread of diseases.
Through this letter am calling upon you to rescue us with a one off donation of $5841 dollars to enable us construct a latrine for the children.
Your support would contribute to discouraging the practice of open defecation, improve access to sanitation which is critical towards reducing the impact of diseases and making open defecation unattractive and helping create a physical environment that enhances safety and dignity in our school.
